Braiding Bootcamp 2.0 - Beginners

Braiding Bootcamp 2.0 for Beginners is a hands-on 2 hour course that is held in an intimate setting. Instruction will be provided on basic braiding and twisting techniques with time to practice those techniques with a professional and others that are also learning. It is the perfect class for those that want to create protective styles for personal use or for professional stylists who want to strengthen their basic braiding techniques and expand their service offerings. This class is designed for the individual that wants to learn how to braid on the scalp (cornrow and flat twist) or who wants to enhance their basic techniques. Content will explore, but is not limited to:

• Parting techniques
• Tension vs. grip
• Plaiting/Braiding
• Twisting
• Appropriate products

All materials (valued at ~$60) are provided and include, but are not limited to:

• Practice mannequin with stretched textured hair
• Mannequin stand
• Parting comb and brush
• Alligator clips
• Braiding starter products
• And more...

Please note that student kit materials may change at any time due to availability but will always include a practice mannequin and stand.

Registration ends 1 week before the date of each class.
