1. Is Florida cosmetology education and its courses approved by the Florida Board of Cosmetology?

Yes. We are an approved Special Provider with License # NPD394. All courses require pre-approval from the Board of Cosmetology before they can be offered for credit.

2. Are live courses available?

Yes, live courses are available upon request and may require additional fees depending on your location. Please Contact Us for additional information.

3. Do I have to answer test questions to receive credit hours?

Yes, the Board of Cosmetology requires that a simple open-book quiz be completed to earn credit hours. You are allowed to resubmit your answers to reach the required minimum score of 75%.

4. Do you automatically send a copy of my Certificate to my Email?

Yes. Your Certificate of Course Completion is sent to your email and can be saved to your computer or to an external memory device for printing at a later date.

5. Do you report my credit hours to the Board of Cosmetology?

For all initial licensure courses, you are required to submit a copy of your Certificate of Course Completion along with your required application.

6. How long will it take me to complete the course?

The State of Florida does not require clock timing therefore you are able to work at your own pace. Most courses can be completed in reasonable times, but materials are prepared to allow the maximum time for preparation by the state of Florida.

7. Do I have to create an account to view or take the course?

No. All courses are accessible to the public.

8. Do I have to pre-register or pre-pay to take an online course?

No. You may review the course materials  and complete the course assessment and evaluation first. However, a Certificate of Course Completion will not be issued until payment is received.

9. How do I pay for the course?

All payments are accepted via PayPal secure processing directly through our website.

10. Do I have to have a PayPal account to pay for the course?

No. PayPal accepts any bank card. We do not accept E-checks.

11. ARE payments accepted over the phone?

No. Payments must be submitted online via PayPal secure processing.

12. Can course materials be mailed to my physical mailing address?

Yes. There are additional fees for printing and delivery may take 2-4 weeks depending on your location. All course materials are available online for immediate download at any time.
